I’m an American freelance writer married to a Brit living in The Netherlands and raising Anglo-American hybrids.
I’ve worked in the chemical industry in the USA and in Europe as a technical service representative, a product manager and the head of corporate communications. I’ve managed product streams worth millions of euros, spoken at industry conferences, written and presented to customers and suppliers, negotiated with multi-national companies on multi-million euro deals, and led a team. I’ve written business plans, explained corporate strategy to thousands of employees in forty countries, written letters from the CEO, and managed the corporate intranet and internet sites.
I have a bachelor of science degree in chemical engineering and a master of science degree in corporate communications, and I’ve written for trade journals and co-authored a book on thought leadership.
I am currently working on magazine articles and a middle-grade novel about a Palaeolithic boy.
